Hill attends North/South weekend at Florence Speedway

Wednesday night found Vic Hill in action at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) for the 34th annual Ralph Latham Memorial. Drawing 53 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Vic came in seventh in his heat race, giving him one last shot at the opening night feature with a B-Main appearance. On Thursday afternoon for the North/South Shootout, Hill timed in 10th fastest in his group before coming two spots shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish. Needing a second place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Vic slipped back to a ninth place outing.

He was a scratch from Friday and Saturday night’s Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100.
