Sixth place finish in Tar Heel 50 at Tri-County Racetrack

Vic Hill was one of 26 Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals series entries on hand at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.) on Thursday evening for the FK Rod Ends Tar Heel 50. Following the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group, Vic notched a runner-up finish in his heat behind Ricky Weiss, locking him into the 10th-starting position for the $10,053-to-win A-Main. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Hill clawed forward four spots in the 53-lap affair to place sixth.

Saturday's Fall Nationals series-sanctioned Billy Clanton Classic at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) fell victim to Mother Nature.
