Vic Hill Attends Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway

After Mother Nature postponed Thursday’s opener to Friday, Vic Hill was one of 78 Super Late Models signed in at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Friday afternoon kicking off the 24th annual Dirt Late Model Dream. Coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat race, Hill recorded a 6th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 4 into the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Vic fell two spots short with a 6th place outing.

Later Friday night for the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, Vic logged an 8th place finish in his heat giving him one more shot at the final preliminary A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top 4, Hill was a scratch from his consolation event.

Slated to roll off 12th in his heat race on Saturday for one final shot at the $100,000-to-win finale, Vic failed to make out for the 20-lapper bringing an early end his weekend.
